General Questions
1. What are fitted bedrooms?
Fitted bedrooms are custom-made storage solutions designed to maximise your space. Unlike freestanding furniture, they are built to fit seamlessly into your room’s layout, creating a sleek, stylish and clutter-free finish.
2. What are the benefits of a fitted bedroom over freestanding furniture?
Fitted bedrooms make the most of every inch of space, especially in awkward areas like alcoves or sloped ceilings. They provide more storage, a neater appearance and a completely tailored design that suits your style.
3. Can you design furniture for tricky spaces, like angled ceilings or alcoves?
Absolutely! We design storage solutions that work perfectly in any space—no large fillers, no wasted gaps, just a perfect fit.

5. Do you offer both sliding and hinged wardrobes?
Yes, we do! Whether you prefer the sleek look of sliding doors or the classic style of hinged wardrobes, we’ll help you choose the best option for your space.
6. Can you match my existing furniture or décor?
We have a wide selection of finishes and styles and will do our best to find a close match for your existing furniture if possible.
7. Does your furniture have backs?
We can design furniture with full backs or a frame system. We discuss the best option with you during your consultation to ensure it fits your space and style perfectly.

8. Is your fitted furniture good quality?
Yes – we only use high-quality materials and trusted suppliers. Our cabinets are made from durable 18mm MFC with full carcasses, 8mm backs (where requested) and matching interiors. Doors and panels come from HPP, known for their precision and style options. We also fit Blum soft-close hinges and drawer runners as standard, so everything feels smooth, sturdy, and built to last. Process & Installation bedrooms FAQ
9. How does the process work?
First, we offer a free, no-obligation consultation and quote in your home. During this visit we’ll discuss your requirements, take measurements and present design options. We will then send you a quote via email. After you’re happy with the quote and design, we will then book in a second visit to check measurements and finalise all the details. A fit date is then arranged, which is secured with a deposit. We then build and fit your furniture at the agreed time. For more information see our recent blog, Fitted Furniture: How do I get a quote?
10. How long does installation take?
Most fitted bedroom installations take 2-4 days, depending on the size and complexity of the design.
11. Will there be much mess during installation?
We aim to keep disruption to a minimum, using dust sheets where possible and always leaving your space clean and tidy.

Showroom & Samples
12. Can I see the furniture before deciding?
Yes! You’re welcome to visit our showroom before or after getting a quote. We have a range of samples on display, so you can see the quality of materials and finishes in person. Please contact us to make an appointment if you’d like to visit.

Fitted bedrooms FAQ – Costs & Payments
13. How much does a fitted bedroom cost?
Prices vary depending on the size, materials, and design choices. The best way to get an accurate cost is to book a free quote.
For more information on what can affect prices see our recent blog The Cost of Fitted Wardrobes‘.
14. What is your payment structure?
To proceed with an order, we require a 30% deposit of the total furniture cost. After five days, this deposit becomes non-refundable. A 50% delivery confirmation payment is due prior to delivery and the remaining balance is payable upon completion of the installation.
15. Do you accept credit card payments?
Currently, we do not accept credit or debit card payments. Payments can be made via bank transfer, cash or cheque. Please note we do not offer discounts for cash payments due to bank charges.
Other Practical Fitted bedrooms FAQ
16. Do I need to clear my room before installation?
Yes, we ask that the space is cleared before installation day to ensure a smooth and efficient fitting process.
17. What if I’m renovating and not ready for installation yet?
No problem! You can get a quote now and pay a deposit to secure your fitting date for later, ensuring everything is ready when you are.
18. Do you offer fitted furniture for other spaces, like home offices?
Yes! We design and install fitted furniture for home offices, living spaces, and have even tackled unique projects like barge interiors and gin cabinets!

19. What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible. Deposits become non-refundable after five days. For detailed information on our cancellation policy, please refer to our full terms and conditions.
20. Can I barter on the price?
We always give our best price from the start, and we don’t offer fake discounts. Our pricing is based on the quality of the materials and craftsmanship we provide, so you can be sure you’re getting a fair and competitive rate. If you’re working to a budget, we can discuss ways to adjust the design, like opting for shelves instead of drawers or frames instead of full carcasses, to ensure we meet your needs without compromising quality.
